The brief

Live Nation commissioned a promo for the Korn + Alice in Chains tour. The visual direction needed to reflect the energy of the music and bring the two band identities into the same promotional piece.

My role

I handled art direction, design and animation for the promo. The films above include the tour piece and a separate particle exploration associated with its visual treatment.

The approach

Digital distortion drives the look, with triangle and circle forms used within the treatment of the band identities. The particle exploration offers a closer view of the motion and texture behind that visual language.
